Scoop the Lou Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

By scheduling service with Scoop the Lou, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Services

Scoop the Lou removes visible pet waste from the accessible outdoor areas included in your service. Waste is double-bagged and placed in the customer’s outdoor trash can. If the trash can is not accessible, the bagged waste will be left near the garage.

Yard Access

Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the yard on the scheduled service day. Gates must be unlocked, and Scoop the Lou must be provided with any necessary gate codes or access instructions.

If we cannot access the yard, the service may be skipped and the scheduled visit may still be charged.

Pets and Safety

Pets may remain outside during service if they are friendly and do not interfere with our work. Aggressive or potentially dangerous animals must be secured before we arrive.

We may skip or stop service if a pet, person, property condition, severe weather, or other hazard makes the yard unsafe.

Yard Conditions

We make every reasonable effort to locate and remove visible pet waste. Tall grass, leaves, snow, standing water, excessive debris, or other yard conditions may prevent some waste from being found.

Customers must inform us of changes to the number of dogs, yard size, service area, or property conditions. Pricing may be adjusted when these changes affect the amount of work required.

Scheduling and Weather

Service is performed according to our established route schedule. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed.

Service may be delayed or rescheduled because of severe weather, holidays, unsafe conditions, vehicle issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Payment

An active credit or debit card must remain on file at all times. By scheduling service, the customer authorizes Scoop the Lou to automatically charge the card on file upon completion of each service.

Service may be suspended or canceled if a payment is declined or an active card is not maintained. The customer remains responsible for any unpaid services already performed.

Cancellations

Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or skip a scheduled visit. Visits canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed because the yard was inaccessible, may still be charged.

Recurring service continues until canceled by the customer or Scoop the Lou.

Service Concerns

Any concern about a completed service must be reported within 24 hours. If waste was missed in an accessible service area, Scoop the Lou may return to correct the issue at no additional charge.

Property and Pet Responsibility

Customers are responsible for maintaining secure gates, fences, latches, and other property features. Scoop the Lou is not responsible for pre-existing property damage, hidden hazards, or the actions of a customer’s pet, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

Changes to These Terms

Scoop the Lou may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
